Hello, beautiful beings! Today, on this Full Moon in Gemini π, we are shedding some light on what it is that actually makes us "sick" (and it's not π¦ ) and a reminder on how to kick out a sniffle.
π€ Why do some people seem to get everything going, while others happily keep on going?
π€’ Why do some of us have seemingly "iron guts"?β
π€§ And why do some individuals get allergies in the exact same environment that others are totally fine in?
We might be tempted to answer, βitβs the immune systemβ, but the βimmuneβ system is both merely a working theory and a relatively new concept - one that has not been tested and proven over the course of millennia. And in its short existence, many holes and inconsistencies have already been uncovered.
What if there was another explanation that covered all aspects of dis-ease - mind, body and soul?
A view that:
π is at least 5,000 years old
π liberates us from the defensive, warlike mentality of waging war on disease, preventing βattackβ and always keeping an eye out, etc.
π trusts the wisdom of our brilliant beings - and the wisdom of Mama Natureβ
π is about living in harmony, both within and without
βπ reminds us just how powerful we are
Wouldnβt that feel so much better - more easeful, joyous and lighter - than being on constant alert for the next invisible germ or baddie out there?! This is what we dive into in the latest episode β¬οΈ
Why do we get "sick"? A Chinese Medicine perspective
In this episode, we look at the causes of disease through the lens of the oldest science in the world - Chinese Medicine! Tested over the centuries and on millions of patients, it continues to deliver powerful results to this day. We discuss:
What makes us sick? ββ’ Loss of balance, connection & harmony β’ Lack, or stagnation, of Qi - our life force energy β’ Imbalance of Yin & Yang
And what can cause these disruptions? β β’Emotionsβ β’ Six Heavenly Qi - atmospheric and climatic influencesβ β’ Disconnection from Nature β β’ βImproperβ or imbalanced living: food, movement, routine, habits, thoughts, etc.
And, how we can maintain vibrant wellnessβ This lens sees us humans as primarily energetic, electromagnetic beings, and when we cultivate our Qi and our spirit-soul-consciousness, health is the natural result.
This is why I created the Radiant Energy Reset - all-in-one preventative health, at your pace and guided by your body. Here's how the ancient wisdom in the Radiant Energy Reset helped ease cough symptoms β¬οΈβ¬οΈβ¬οΈ

In Chinese Medicine, our focus is on preventative health and staying well, summed up in the advice,"βdon't wait until you're thirsty to dig a wellβ. The Radiant Energy Reset is a self-paced journey of health wisdom that guides you in nourishing YOU deeply. Backed by ancient wisdom, not wellness trends.
